Job summary

Davis Wright Tremaine LLP seeks a Financial Data Analyst in Seattle to design, develop, and deliver internal accounting and client-driven reports. You will analyze data, provide insights, and collaborate with attorneys and management on analytics projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytical role
• Bachelor's Degree in data science, accounting, finance or related field
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau
• Strong MS Office suite skills
• Experience with SQL reporting and report production
• Strong communication skills across all levels of a professional services organization
• Ability to manage concurrent work streams with attention to detail
• Ability to explain complex financial data to business partners
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Prior law firm or professional services experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual internal accounting and financial reports using Tableau and SQL
• Handle ongoing survey requests and provide data for surveys
• Produce specialty reports for internal and external clients and scope with department leaders
• Manage analytics projects from intake to delivery
• Develop clear insights from data and present to stakeholders with professionalism
• Collaborate with practice leaders to determine priority analysis targets
• Triage reporting demands and escalate when needed
