Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in Internal Audit, Financial Controls or SOX/MAR.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with ICFR and control documentation.
• Insurance industry experience preferred.
• CPA or CIA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support ICFR control documentation, testing, assessment, and ongoing improvements.
• Support MAR and SOX compliance activities, including evaluations, documentation, testing, and remediation.
• Evaluate existing financial processes and controls, identify risks or deficiencies, and recommend improvements to strengthen the control environment.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, and stakeholders to ensure effective control design and operating effectiveness.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for financial controls and regulatory requirements.
• Research regulatory changes and complex transactions to determine potential impacts on reporting and internal controls.
• Assist with financial and regulatory reporting activities, including analysis and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance control efficiency.
