The Department of Administration & Financial Services in Maine is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide in-depth budgetary and financial analysis to the Natural Resources Service Center. Based in Augusta with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule, this limited-period role requires a master’s degree in business or related field and GAAP/GASB knowledge, plus strong communication skills.

Candidates will work with the Service Center Director and senior management to support revenue and expenditure

Qualificações

• MBA or related field with two years of cost, cost/benefit, and financial analysis experience.
• GAAP and GASB knowledge; substitutions allowed if experience demonstrates comprehension.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-depth and continuous analysis of departmental finances.
• Collaborate with the Service Center Director and other analysts and senior management on budgeting and forecasting.
• Support revenue and expenditure forecasting and financial planning in Augusta with hybrid work arrangement.
