Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, operations or financial institutions.
• Strong Excel/PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides cross training/support to new team members.
• May assist with problem resolution and data interpretation, perform variance analysis, and ensure timely submission of reports.
• Assist with design of projects and lead projects of moderate scope if needed.
• Prepare complex financial schedules, reconciliations and reports for the Corporation (bank regulatory reports, SEC reporting, shareholder and Board reports, internal management reports).
• Knowledge of various tax regulations as applicable.
• Uses judgment based on analysis to identify meaningful information.
• Maintain data integrity testing, general ledger entries, adherence to GAAP and SEC disclosure requirements.
