Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst for a hybrid role based at our corporate office in Brentwood, TN, with on-site work required Monday through Wednesday.

This position supports the financial forecasting, budgeting and monthly reporting processes across multiple business units. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, at least two years of related experience, and strong Excel and financial modeling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of related accounting experience.
• Experience in financial analysis and financial modeling.
• Healthcare/Hospital experience preferred.
• Experience in developing financial systems and procedures.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks desirable.
• Experience in a multi-location environment; merger and acquisition experience preferred.
• Experience in partnership accounting desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare analysis supporting the financial statement forecasting process to optimize performance.
• Develop and maintain the budget and forecast for balance sheets, income and cash flow statements.
• Coordinate and prepare the monthly board financial reporting package.
• Develop long-range financial models to understand account economics and sensitivities.
• Collaborate across functions to align on group performance, monthly results, and risks and opportunities.
• Communicate with finance and operations management to assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide project management for monthly reporting, forecast, and annual planning processes for the respective business unit.
