University of Virginia's Student Financial Services seeks a Financial Aid Systems Analyst to implement financial aid business logic in Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. The role analyzes processes, implements innovative solutions, and oversees Perceptive Content workflow. This is a hybrid position requiring two days in the office each week.

The analyst will gather requirements, lead testing, train end users, and partner with IT to improve data flows in a university student information system.

Qualificações

• Three or more years of higher education financial aid experience.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking and process improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Perform configuration changes to the PeopleSoft Financial Aid module, including packaging plans and cost of attendance budgets.
• Develop and maintain complex PeopleSoft queries for financial aid reports and data needs.
• Diagnose problems and propose improvements in the PeopleSoft Financial Aid module and Perceptive Content workflow.
• Monitor system processes for compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
• Collaborate with financial aid staff to understand business needs and craft technical solutions.
• Maintain batch processes and run controls for tasks like population updates and loading external awards.
• Develop business and technical requirements for enhancements in financial aid.
• Analyze, test, and validate software capabilities to meet user needs and identify gaps.
• Work with developers to implement new functionality and lead user acceptance testing.
