The University of Vermont is seeking a Finance Administrator to provide primary financial and business operations support to the Office of Medical Education and related units. The role oversees budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, and reporting across multiple programs with budgets over $8 million.

Desirable candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience, proficiency in PeopleSoft and advanced Excel, and strong analytical as well as communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience in financial administration, business operations, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently.
• Effective analytical, reasoning, judgment, organizational, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills required.

Responsabilités

• Provide primary financial and business operations support to the Office of Medical Education, including Admissions, Curriculum across educational sites, the Clinical Simulation Laboratory, Medical Student Services, the Teaching Academy, and Continuing Medical and Interprofessional Education.
• Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, purchasing, receivables, and operational processes across multiple programs and funding sources with annual budgets exceeding $8 million.
• Serve as financial advisor and liaison to leadership, student organizations, and affiliated programs by providing budget guidance and funding recommendations.
• Manage purchasing and vendor relations, support grant administration, prepare financial reports, and communicate budget trends to senior leadership.
