Job summary

University of California - Davis is seeking a Financial Analyst 2 CX to provide analytical support for budgeting and finance activities within the One Health Institute (OHI). The role collaborates with the Executive Director, CAO, and leadership to enable effective response, research, and capacity-building programs.

Responsibilities include processing complex contracts, maintaining ledgers, and developing financial tools while ensuring compliance with university policies and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related area.
• At least 2 years' accounting and financial management experience.
• Experience with UC Davis sponsored research, payroll, contracts, and internal controls.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with diverse groups.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks under pressure and changing priorities.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting, financial analysis and tool development for programs.
• Liaise with campus units and external partners; manage contracts and ledgers.
• Ensure compliance with university, state and federal policies.
• Provide administrative support and policy guidance as needed.
