Responsibilities

• Designs enhancements, updates, and programming changes for Lustre and Linux kernel I/O stacks.
• Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities for features like OST striping or data tiering.
• Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation; debugs I/O stacks, VFS bottlenecks, and kernel panics.
• Collaborates with a project team to develop reliable, high-performance storage solutions for HPC and enterprise storage networks.
• Communicates with management and internal partners regarding design status, progress, and issue resolution for assigned components.
• Participates as a key technical contributor in the storage software engineering team across enterprise storage architecture projects.
• Provides guidance, code review, and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
