Based in Salt Lake City with hybrid work options, this position emphasizes collaboration with lenders, on-site examinations, and the continual improvement of processes and controls within asset-based lending.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 4+ years in asset-based lending, underwriting, or related experience.
• Extensive knowledge of loan practices with emphasis on asset-based lending and credit analysis.
• Experience with commercial/corporate loan structures and loan covenants.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and written/spoken communication skills.
• Familiarity with loan processing and closing processes.
• Ability to interview applicants and assess credit risk.
• Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and conduct field examinations.
• Define scope of work for reviewing field exams.
• Review and finalize work for quality and compliance.
• Ensure contractors meet service levels.
• Manage field exam vendors and documentation.
• Consult with lenders on structuring new business and borrowing bases.
• Lead department projects and special initiatives.
