Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a part-time Procurement Specialist to form bidder lists, qualify bidders, and issue bid requests for the Fab 62 project in Chandler, AZ. You will coordinate with Engineering and suppliers to ensure timely, compliant purchase orders that support the construction of Intel's leading-edge chip facility.

This role requires a bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of relevant experience or 6–9 years of work history.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
• 2–5 years of relevant procurement experience (or 6–9 years total).
• Experience formulating bidder lists and bid packages.
• Ability to monitor supplier performance and ensure contract compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepares bidders’ lists and qualifies bidders.
• Coordinates with Engineering to assist in material requisitions and procurement.
• Forms bid packages and issues bid requests; coordinates questions and bids.
• Prepares Commercial Bid Summary and recommendation for award.
• Communicates with suppliers and Bechtel personnel to define requirements.
• Monitors supplier performance and contract terms; handles PO changes.
