Job summary

Lumos is seeking a Manager – OSP Construction in Florida to lead outside plant fiber builds across multiple sites. The role requires interfacing with subcontractors, coordinating schedules, and ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget completion.

You will guide teams, influence internal and external partners, and drive process improvements to scale Lumos’ fiber network while maintaining strong community relations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in OSP construction, engineering, or operations fiber builds.
• 2-5 years’ experience leading techs and contractors in a fiber build environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven project management skills; able to manage multiple milestones to closure.
• Active, fully unencumbered driver’s license; fiber/telecom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute market builds safely, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and upgrades of OSP facilities and community interfaces.
• Delegate tasks and empower reports; design builds and track progress.
• Interface with local governments and communities, provide timely updates.
• Lead and standardize processes; manage CAPEX/OPEX and inventory.
