Job summary
Koniag Government Services seeks an experienced Identity Federation & PKI Engineer to support enterprise IAM operations for a federal client in Washington, DC. This hybrid role requires deep expertise across SSO, PKI, and cloud IdPs, with focus on OIDC, OAuth, SAML, FIDO/WebAuthn, and secure token services.
You will design, implement, and maintain federation connections using Ping Identity, Okta, and Microsoft Entra, integrate PIV/CAC with cloud IdPs, and contribute to Zero Trust architecture
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
- 6–10+ years IAM and network security engineering.
- Minimum 4 years configuring federated identity and enterprise PKI.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise federation connections (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC).
- Configure and troubleshoot identity topologies with Ping Identity, Okta, and Entra.
- Implement secure API authorization and token attributes/claims.
- Support passwordless and phishing-resistant authentication (FIDO2/WebAuthn).
- Manage PKI lifecycle, CAs, and integration with PIV/CAC and cloud IdPs.
