Job summary

Cornerstones of Care in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Family Development Specialist to train prospective and licensed caregivers, perform licensure assessments, and support kinship, foster and adoptive families.

The role combines office-based coordination with field visits, offers a hybrid schedule, requires a BA in Social Work or related field and 2+ years of experience, preferably MSW, and knowledge of Missouri child welfare laws. Must pass background check and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or other Human Services field.
• Two (2) years of experience.
• Preferred MSW and three (3) years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preservice and in-service training for prospective and/or licensed caregivers.
• Complete timely licensure assessments, adoptive updates and renewals for Relative/Kinship/Foster families.
• Provide ongoing support with licensing policies/regulations and quarterly home visits.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or other Human Services field
