Job summary

TC Energy in Houston is seeking a skilled engineer to advance USNG Commercial Operations through hands-on project work and minimal supervision. Reporting to the Manager of Facility Planning West, you will analyze hydraulic systems, develop models, support regulatory filings, and collaborate with Gas Control and other teams to keep pipelines running safely and efficiently.

The role requires an ABET-accredited degree in chemical, mechanical, or civil engineering and 2–4 years of practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum, or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 2–4 years of practical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with fluid flow simulation tools (e.g., DNV Synergi Gas, Gregg Engineering, ProMax, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Conduct system hydraulic analyses to determine pipeline capacities.
• Develop hydraulic models and support facility improvement programs.
• Provide technical support for FERC filings related to assigned facilities.
• Collaborate with Gas Control and other stakeholders for efficient daily operations across pipeline segments.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to plan, execute, and communicate maintenance and project activities.
• Design solutions aligned with tariffs, contracts, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and enhance data analysis tools and reporting to improve capacity and efficiency.
