Job summary

The D.S. Brown Company, a Gibraltar Industries Company, is seeking an Extrusion Operator to load rubber into the extruder, set up parts, wind material, and perform quality checks. The role requires reading calipers and tape measures and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Headquartered in North Baltimore, Ohio, the company offers a sign-on bonus and potential bonuses tied to milestones. Hybrid/remote opportunities may be available, with a schedule Monday–Thursday.

Qualifications

• Tow motor/Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 75lbs and stand for up to 10 hours.
• Work in a dirty environment and under extreme temperatures

Responsibilities

• Load the extruder with rubber material.
• Set up parts and winding material; perform quality control on the part.
• Read calipers and tape measure to verify dimensions.
• Package finished product according to specifications.
• Inspect finished product for quality.
• Position and organize priorities; follow written and verbal instructions
