Job summary

YoungArts seeks a detail-oriented Exhibition Assistant, Contractor, to support the Artistic Programs team with planning, production, and installation for the 2026 MAW Studio and the 2027 YAW Exhibition in Miami. This hybrid in-person role requires on-site presence for install periods and monthly meetings at the YoungArts Campus Gallery.

You will work closely with curators and the Senior Director, Lifetime Support for Artists, to ensure timely handling, installation, and deinstallation of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in education and experience.
• Experience in exhibition management, museum/gallery operations, and/or art handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Associate in selecting and installing artwork.
• Support shipping logistics for incoming artwork and track receipts.
• Maintain production schedules and on-site installation during MAW and YAW.
• Support curator walk-throughs and the exhibition opening event.
• Ensure safety policies and on-site security compliance.
