Job summary

truckingpeople is seeking Technicians to install, mount, and validate autonomous hardware on vehicles, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to established processes.

You will follow detailed instructions to remove interior panels, route wiring harnesses, mount sensors and brackets, and verify connections, powering up systems to confirm readiness for the next build stage. Daily shifts include AM 5:00-1:30 and PM 1:00-9:30, with hands-on tasks and a strong emphasis on precision.

Qualifications

• Requires hands-on mechanical experience with automotive or related technical roles.
• Ability to read technical drawings and installation documentation.
• Experience with wiring harness routing and low-voltage electrical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transform stock vehicles for autonomous hardware.
• Follow detailed instructions to remove interior panels and route wiring harnesses.
• Mount sensors and brackets and verify all installations.
• Power up systems and verify connections to ensure readiness for the next build stage.
• Maintain high attention to detail and use of hand tools in a safe manner.
