Job summary

AMS Impact Group is seeking a knowledgeable Exceptional Student Services (ESS) Regional Coordinator to support the implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement of special education services across multiple AMS campuses.

Reporting to the Director of Exceptional Student Services, the ESS Regional Coordinator serves as the primary regional support partner for campus leaders, teachers, and case managers, ensuring compliance with IDEA and Arizona regulations and coaching staff to improve

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate required (Mild/Moderate endorsement preferred).
• Minimum of three (3) years of Special Education teaching experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading MET/RED and IEP meetings.
• Experience supporting the implementation of special education services and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ESS representative for assigned campuses.
• Support and ensure consistency of special education programs regionally.
• Collaborate with campus admins, teachers, and case managers to serve students.
• Consult on special education procedures and program implementation.
• Assist the Director with initiatives and special projects.
• Review MET/RED, IEPs and documentation for IDEA compliance.
