Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Oracle Fusion ERP Functional Test Lead to ensure high-quality and successful ERP implementations across finance, procurement, and data conversion domains. You will collaborate with ERP consultants, business owners, and offshore testing teams to deliver robust testing strategies.

The role requires 10+ years in QA, 6+ years leading Oracle ERP testing, and deep Oracle Financials knowledge. A hybrid work model with onsite presence in Seattle is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Quality Engineering or QA experience in enterprise applications.
• 6+ years of leading functional testing for Oracle ERP/Oracle Financials implementations.
• Experience owning testing activities for at least one full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation from design through go-live.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials processes including GL, Subledgers, Period Close, Consolidation, and P2P.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute end-to-end test scenarios from design through go-live.
• Lead SIT, End-to-End Testing, UAT, and release validation cycles.
• Own ERP integration testing across finance and procurement ecosystems.
• Define and validate data conversion and migration test scenarios.
• Validate financial controls, SoD, approvals, and security with risk stakeholders.
• Facilitate and manage UAT sessions and defect triage with teams.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to identify regression candidates.
