Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) seeks an Investigator & Educator, Equity & Compliance to join Social Equity & Inclusion. You will conduct prompt, impartial investigations under Title VI/IX and ADA/504, while also delivering education, prevention, and outreach to foster an inclusive, safe environment.

The role emphasizes neutrality, objectivity, and professional handling of sensitive information; you will partner with Human Resources and campus offices to ensure consistent, fair processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., law, social work, higher education, human resources, criminal justice) is required.
• Master's degree preferred; Title IX or civil rights investigator certification is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the minimum educational requirement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and Title IX conduct with neutrality and thorough documentation.
• Develop and deliver prevention and education programs on bias, discrimination, and prohibited conduct.
• Collaborate with Title IX and ADA/504 coordinators and campus partners to address systemic issues and ensure compliance.
• Assist in managing compliance training programs for discriminatory harassment, Title IX, and sexual misconduct.
• Maintain timely updates and records across case management systems.
