Headwater Science is seeking an Epidemiologist to collaborate with epidemiologists, applied statisticians, and software developers on real‑world data studies in medicine and public health.

You will design and implement research using real‑world data such as insurance claims or electronic health records, and gain hands‑on experience in pharmacoepidemiology and advanced statistical methods while learning from leaders in the field.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in epidemiology or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of research in design, execution, and publication of scientific research.
• Experience with quantitative methods and fundamental statistics.
• Familiarity with submitting manuscripts to peer‑reviewed journals.
• Strong foundational knowledge in epidemiological methods.

Responsabilités

• Provide design, implementation, and management support for epidemiologic studies using real‑world data.
• Conduct literature reviews on disease diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes.
• Develop and contribute to conference abstracts, posters, papers, and technical reports.
• Plan and conduct standard and advanced analyses with guidance from seniors.
• Support study protocols and analysis plan development for observational studies.
• Assist in submission of peer‑reviewed publications.
