Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams across NEPA-driven reviews for transportation, water, energy, and ports projects.

You will mentor staff, manage scopes, schedules, and budgets, and coordinate with agencies and clients to ensure successful permitting outcomes. The role emphasizes business development, interagency collaboration, and high-quality technical writing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Planning, Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 20+ years’ experience in environmental planning studies and NEPA compliance.
• 15+ years of project/program management experience.
• Experience with NEPA, SEPA, and related environmental laws and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams through NEPA- and permitting-related work.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk; mentor staff.
• Coordinate with agencies, subconsultants, clients, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
• Develop competitive bid proposals and assist with client presentations.
