Job summary

You will collaborate with planners, scientists, engineers, and communications professionals to guide projects through review processes and ensure regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes preparing NEPA documentation, coordinating with agencies, and supporting public involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Planning, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years as a NEPA Analyst supporting transportation infrastructure.
• Understanding of the NEPA process and state environmental procedures.
• Knowledge of NEPA regs (4(f), 106 NHPA, 404 CWA) and related requirements.
• Familiarity with scopes, schedules, and budgets; strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with NEPA documentation: CE/EA/EIS and re-evaluations for DB and DBB projects.
• Coordinate with engineering to evaluate alternatives and minimize impacts.
• Support public involvement, stakeholder engagement, and agency coordination.
• Prepare technical studies and environmental compliance documentation with multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and review scopes of work, project schedules, and cost estimates.
