Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least three years of environmental or related experience, OR
• Master’s degree in Engineering in a related field and at least one year environmental or related experience.
• Additional certification or licensure (HAZWOPER, Method 9, DOT, EMS Auditor, Asbestos, Water Treatment Operator, CHMM) may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, provides technical support and guidance for environmental projects and programs at assigned site.
• Prepares applications for air quality permit revisions and renewals; analyzes data for regulatory compliance.
• Evaluates environmental risk and develops programs for risk reduction.
• Leads or participates in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental policies.
• May serve as Project Manager or technical expert on small to medium environmental projects.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Agricultural, Mining, Metallurgical, Geological or similar)

Master’s degree in Engineering in a related field
