The position offers a hybrid/flex schedule, regular weekday hours, and opportunities for growth within the Environmental Utilities Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science or closely related field.
• Possession of a valid California driver's license by date of appointment.
• Stormwater Inspector Certificate within 18 months for Environmental Compliance Specialist II.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to NPDES permits and water compliance standards.
• Perform inspections, sampling, and analysis across EUD divisions.
• Prepare reports and implement best practices to maintain compliance.
• Collaborate to safeguard water resources and protect community health.
