Job summary

AECOM is looking for an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our Transportation Department in Hunt Valley, MD, with an Arlington, VA hiring event and opportunities to begin a promising early career across our global teams. Start is Summer 2027, with work on highway bridges and related structures.

You will collaborate with multi-discipline teams, develop designs from concepts through construction, and contribute to a portfolio of regional and national projects while gaining access to training

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
US citizenship is required.
0–2 years of experience; EIT/FE may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

Performing assignments related to the design, analysis, rehabilitation and inspection of highway bridges and ancillary structures.
Preparing engineering related calculations and developing drawings and visual aids
Performing condition inspections of highway or other structures in a variety of environments including confined spaces and at height
Working under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
