GRAEF in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our Structural group. You will work with engineers and architects on a wide variety of project types nationwide, from small to large, simple to complex.

The role offers exposure to parking structure design, code applications, and BIM collaboration using Revit, with mentorship from senior engineers and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Master’s degree and EIT certification or progress toward PE preferred.
• Working knowledge of Revit and experience in various structural software programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and project teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for parking structures.
• Apply applicable building codes, design standards, and industry best practices.
• Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, and construction documents under senior guidance.
• Assist with shop drawing review, submittal review, and RFI responses during construction.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in project meetings.
• Assist with BIM modeling and drafting in Revit, including drawing production and model coordination.
• Participate in field investigations, site visits, and existing condition assessments.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on technical excellence and client service.
