Modjeski and Masters in Mechanicsburg, PA seeks an entry-level Structural Bridge Design Engineer. A BS in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) is required; MS preferred. EI certification is ideal or in process.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited college.
• MS in Civil Engineering preferred.
• EI certification in process preferred.
• Specialized knowledge in bridge analysis and design (concrete analysis, time dependent post-tensioned concrete, seismic, foundations).

Responsibilities

• Identify complex problems, evaluate options, and implement solutions.
• Effectively manage time and resources in the execution of duties.
• Use computer aided design and drafting software.
• Use standard engineering analysis software.
• Develop the ability to design, detail and create contract plan sheets for bridge projects.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, Project Managers, administrative supervisor, other team members, clients and subcontractors.
• Receive and convey ideas and information effectively, both orally and in writing, with co-workers, Project Managers, administrative supervisor, other team members, clients, and subcontractors
