Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group seeks an Entry Level Electrical Engineer for its Federal Buildings team in Honolulu, HI. You will assist in designing critical electrical systems for federal facilities, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle and collaborating with engineers, architects, and project professionals across the United States.

You'll contribute to power distribution, lighting design, life-safety systems, and sustainable building solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals and building systems design principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or other engineering design software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of building electrical systems and power distribution.
• Support lighting, fire alarm, life safety, and standby power system design.
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary coordination with architectural and engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide engineering calculations and drawings.
