PG&E in California seeks an entry-level Electrical Engineer to support the Electric Asset Management (EAM) Distribution Planning team. The role centers on planning studies, capacity analysis, and reliability improvements for the distribution system, with a hybrid work arrangement (remote days plus three in-office days).

You will contribute to modeling, switching plans, and engineering analyses, coordinating with mapping and estimating teams, and maintaining equipment records.

Qualificações

• Minimum: A BSEE, MSEE, or PhD in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Responsabilidades

• Submit reconstruction capacity and reliability project recommendations; may handle simple project management tasks.
• Perform planning studies to model the distribution system and ensure records are corrected.
• Prepare switching plans and documentation for estimators; address distribution needs.
• Address voltage concerns and assist in outage prevention efforts with various teams.
• Prepare economic analyses and maintain equipment records.
