Job summary

Stanley Reid & Company in Reston, VA seeks an Enterprise Data Engineer to work directly with government customers, taking SaaS products from initial setup through configuration and ongoing maintenance.

The role focuses on cloud-native AWS architectures, data pipelines, and security controls (FedRAMP/FISMA), with a fast-paced hybrid team and ~50% onsite work; active TS/SCI + FS Poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing and deploying Python.
• Experience with AI/ML pipelines and production ML deployment.
• Experience deploying cloud-native architectures on AWS (S3, EMR, EKS, IAM, Redshift).
• Experience with SQL, including window functions, CTEs, and large datasets.
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow.
• Experience implementing FedRAMP/FISMA controls.
• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Kubernetes experience, preferably EKS.
• Proficient with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience in GitOps and CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, CI or similar).

Hybrid Enterprise Data Engineer- FS Poly- Up to $260K

Reston, VA

Our client is an enterprise company developing and providing solutions to its customers both commercial and federal. They are committed to fighting financial crime by detecting and investigating illicit activities like fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing through digital asset tracing. They are seeking an Enterprise Data Engineer to work directly with government customers to take their SaaS products from initial setup and implementation to configuration and maintenance, and also scale with maturity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and deploying Python
• Experience with LLM or AI/ML pipelines and secure deployment of ML models in production
• Experience deploying cloud-native architectures on AWS including S3, EMR, EKS, IAM, and Redshift
• Experience with SQL, including optimizing queries with window functions, CTEs, and large datasets
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow
• Experience implementing FedRAMP/FISMA controls
• Experience in a customer-facing role
• Kubernetes experience, preferably EKS
• Proficient with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience in GitOps and CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, CI or similar)

You will be a member of a very fast paced hybrid remote team. The estimated amount of onsite time is 50% and candidates must live within one hour of the DC, metro area. This role requires an active TS/SCI + FS Poly level government clearance.
