Duke Energy Corporation is offering a Project Controls Intern position to support planning, execution, and monitoring of capital projects across our energy portfolio.

As an intern, you will work with project teams on cost management, scheduling, and reporting, gaining hands-on experience in project controls and analytics. This role is full-time for the summer with hybrid onsite/remote work and a 10–12 week program.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a four-year degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Building Science, Accounting, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• Must not graduate prior to August 2027.
• GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project costs and schedules.
• Support project communications and reporting.
• Assist with risk identification and mitigation activities.
