Qualifications

• 5+ years of economics, energy or policy analysis related to energy supply/consumption.
• Experience assessing wholesale electricity markets, renewables and retail rates impact.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• Knowledge of electric power industry basics and utility economics.
• Familiarity with energy datasets (e.g., EIA) and related sources.
• Customer-focused service and relationship-building; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze energy industry data to identify trends and insights for co-ops and stakeholders.
• Develop research questions and analytical approaches for industry issues.
• Apply statistical methods and economic analysis to test hypotheses and forecasts.
• Manage and integrate datasets from multiple sources with quality controls.
• Create dashboards, visualizations and reports for internal and member use.
• Communicate findings through reports, presentations, webinars and outreach.
