Job summary

The State Corporation Commission's Division of Public Utility Regulation seeks an Energy Analyst to investigate electric and gas utility proposals, conduct cost of service studies, design rates, and perform statistical analysis of utility filings. The role involves defending findings as an expert witness at regulatory hearings and monitoring industry conferences.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days telework and 2 days in-office weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience investigating utility rate increase proposals.
• Experience conducting cost of service studies.
• Experience performing statistical analysis of utility proposals.
• Experience defending testimony at evidentiary hearings.
• Familiarity with PJM Interconnection and FERC regulatory developments.
