Job summary

Leidos in Adelphi, MD is seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Analyst to support a high-visibility Cybersecurity Task Order. You will deploy, configure, and tune Elastic Agent/Defend, optimize telemetry, and strengthen endpoint defenses across enterprise environments.

You will collaborate with Threat, Detection, and Engineering teams, develop detection rules, incident response playbooks, and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, cybersecurity, or related field with 4+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, operating, or supporting enterprise endpoint security or EDR.
• Strong understanding of endpoint protection, telemetry, threat detection, and incident response.
• Experience investigating and responding to endpoint security alerts and compromises.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and current cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, operate, tune, upgrade, and troubleshoot Elastic Agent/Defend and other endpoint security tech.
• Optimize endpoint protection and telemetry to maximize security visibility with minimal performance impact.
• Develop detection rules and threat signatures aligned with MITRE ATT&CK techniques.
• Conduct host-based defensive operations to identify, contain, and remediate vulnerabilities and intrusions.
• Support cyber investigations with advanced endpoint queries and forensic data collection.
• Build dashboards and reports for enterprise security visibility and leadership awareness.
• Coordinate endpoint security deployments, patches, and critical updates with engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot endpoint security tool issues and performance concerns.
