Job summary

The Employment Security Department (ESD) is seeking an experienced Employment Specialist Team Lead for WorkSource Pullman. This role focuses on guiding teams, clarifying policy, and fostering equity in a hybrid service environment.

The position supports WorkSource operations across Pullman, Clarkston, and Colville offices, with onsite work and one remote day per week. You will oversee case management, staff coaching, and performance monitoring to ensure high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and direct daily work to ensure smooth in-person and virtual operations.
• Deliver frontline services including case management, job readiness activities, workshops, and coaching.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and technical assistance to staff.
• Support policy implementation and adherence to regulations and procedural changes.
• Serve as primary contact for issues when the supervisor is unavailable.
• Review staff work to ensure compliance with directives and performance standards.
• Present performance findings and training needs to leadership for improvements.
• Assess customer skills and barriers to develop individualized service plans.
• Record and validate data across systems including enrollments and outcomes.
• Monitor and report program performance using local and agency reporting systems.
