Job summary

Aon is seeking an Attorney with employment law firm experience to join our team in a hybrid role, working virtually in Chicago, IL and from our Chicago office.

As a member of Aon’s Employment Law Team, you will advise HR and business leaders on the employee lifecycle, draft agreements, and manage outside counsel in employment disputes. The position requires a JD and bar admission; 5+ years of relevant experience; and the ability to work across a large, matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant employment law experience with a law firm.
• JD and bar in good standing.
• In-house experience preferred.
• Experience with employment litigation.
• Ability to work in a hybrid Chicago-based role.

Responsibilities

• Advise HR and business leaders on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
• Manage outside counsel for employment litigation, including disputes and claims.
• Draft employment, separation, and compensation agreements.
• Support internal investigations and compliance matters.
• Monitor and apply federal, state, and local employment laws.
