Actalent in Goleta, CA, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for a hybrid schedule. You will design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software that interfaces with hardware, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in CS/CE, 5+ years in software development (4+ in embedded), strong C/C++/Java, Linux/Windows experience, and Git proficiency. This role offers hands-on ownership and growth within an innovative R&D environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years in embedded systems.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, C#, and/or Java.
• Experience working directly with embedded hardware.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design principles and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and/or Windows environments.
• Proficiency with Git or other version control tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
