Job summary

H.F. Lenz Company is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to lead the design of electrical systems for data centers and corporate offices.

The role involves managing projects, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring NEC compliance across low- to medium-voltage distribution, lighting, telecom, fire alarm and security systems. Ideal candidates have 7+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and an active PE license.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing power distribution and lighting building systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ability to lead electrical building systems design from utilities to construction administration.
• Travel to project sites required.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and design of electrical systems for data centers and corporate facilities.
• Perform load calculations, site visits, surveys and commissioning.
• Coordinate with vendors and interface with clients and cross-functional teams.
