Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an MEP Estimator III - Electrical to lead estimating efforts for multiple projects and support large-scale bids. The role is hybrid and based in one of the regional offices: Chicago, Denver, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Nashville, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, or Seattle.

Responsibilities include organizing estimates, determining trade partner strategy, conducting quantity surveys, and presenting margin plans.

Qualifications

• Degree in Estimating, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Six years of construction industry experience.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Familiar with estimating techniques, BIM and cost history data.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, and schedule estimate preparation and meetings.
• Ensure complete and reliable estimates with relevant information.
• Develop trade partner strategy and invitations to bid.
• Conduct quantity surveys and analyze site logistics and schedule requirements.
• Present margin plans and manage Bid Day or owner presentations.
• Provide cost modeling, value analysis, and target value delivery.
