Job summary

0 Base Design, LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and analyze electrical and electro-mechanical systems supporting acoustics and RF detection in a hybrid Raleigh, NC environment.

You will develop schematics, perform power systems studies, run simulations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate designs into complex systems while preparing documentation and supporting testing. A BS or higher in EE with 5+ years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 5 years experience.
• Strong grasp of electrical design, schematics, and integration into electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of Power Systems and Power Distribution, load analysis and protection coordination.
• Experience with CAD and simulation tools (CAD, SPICE, multi-physics).
• Ability to interpret standards and produce clear technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and implement electrical and electro-mechanical systems for acoustics and RF detection.
• Develop schematics and layouts; perform power systems studies and simulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs into complex systems.
• Prepare technical documentation and support prototype testing and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to system-level architecture decisions and security clearance readiness.
