Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer to handle electrical design for labs, schools, universities, and commercial/institutional buildings. The role supports early design through construction and offers a hybrid schedule across Cambridge, MA, Providence, RI, or Manchester, NH offices.

You will design power, lighting, and fire alarm systems, produce construction documents with calculations, and coordinate with architects and engineers on project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of building electrical design experience.
• PE preferred, not required.
• Knowledge of building and electrical codes.
• Experience with Revit.

Responsibilities

• Designing power, lighting, and fire alarm systems for buildings.
• Producing construction documents and running the supporting calculations.
• Coordinating with the architects and other engineers on the project team.
