Job summary

HED is seeking an Electrical Designer to deepen technical capabilities and take ownership of design work. The role focuses on developing electrical design documentation, performing calculations, and coordinating across disciplines with guidance from project engineers.

You will work within a hybrid model, contributing to project execution, QAQC, and coordination meetings while growing familiarity with code compliance and design best practices.

Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication skills commensurate with the position required.
• Strong organizational skills preferred.
• Revit experience required.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible and curious personalities required.

Responsibilities

• Produce the sheet list for projects and set up in Revit.
• Participate in the BIM Project Execution Plan.
• Support submittal reviews and respond to RFIs with supervision.
• Collaborate with project engineers on electrical components and coordination.
• Model electrical systems in Revit based on codes and client requirements.
