Job summary

TVH Group is seeking a Commercial Product Purchaser in Olathe, KS to strengthen our electrical components portfolio. The role focuses on sourcing, supplier relationship management, and competitive cost strategies within TVH's global product range including switches, sensors, and dashboard controls.

You’ll work with a global team, maintain strong supplier networks, and drive availability and quality for customers.

Qualifications

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Ability to build relationships across stakeholders.
Comfort analyzing data and translating insights into action.

Responsibilities

Own and manage the components portfolio within the Product & Procurement team.
Identify opportunities to expand and optimize the electrical components assortment via market research, competitor analysis, and TVH's supplier network.
Develop and execute negotiation strategies with suppliers to drive favorable cost outcomes.
Proactively source new suppliers and products; evaluate ranges and negotiate technical specs, pricing and terms.
Escalation point for procurement advisor; ensure quality, availability and on-time delivery.
Respond quickly to disruptions in availability, pricing or quality; drive root-cause resolution.
Partner with Quality to monitor supplier performance and take constructive action as needed.
Track KPIs such as availability, cost trends and supplier performance; address emerging risks.
