Job summary
Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) seeks a Project Engineer Distribution (Electric) to design, estimate, and manage electric distribution projects ensuring safe, reliable service for customers. You will prepare designs, cost estimates, and permits while coordinating with customers, contractors, agencies, and internal teams to resolve conflicts.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from ABET-accredited college/university.
- Minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated experience in electric distribution engineering.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Prepare designs, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and documents for Electric Distribution Projects.
- Manage Electrical Distribution projects from development through completion.
- Design conduit and electric cable layouts in applicable design software.
- Review Electrical plans for new projects and analyze civil and electrical plans.
- Estimate materials and manage project documentation to ensure timely, safe execution.
- Train new engineers on software and design guidelines and develop new estimating tools.
