Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking an experienced EHS professional to manage environmental, health and safety programs across multiple locations, including Frederick, MD and Cumberland, NJ, with 50% travel.

You will develop and maintain site policies, ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations, and coordinate audits, training, and incident investigations. This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to advise managers on at‑risk

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in industrial safety/environmental sciences or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive work experience in safety and regulatory administration.
• CPR/First Aid certified; OSHA certifications and CSP preferred; other certifications may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced EHS leadership across a division or multi-location unit.
• Advise managers on at-risk behaviors and administer coaching.
• Interpret and implement OSHA, EPA, DOT programs and maintain records.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions across locations.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees and leadership.
