Job summary

Dairy-Maid-Dairy is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead EHS programs for our Frederick, MD and Cumberland, NJ plants. The position involves significant travel (50%) between sites, with a preference for candidates within an hour of the Frederick location.

You will drive compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations and shape safety culture across multiple facilities. You will develop, implement, and maintain site policies, oversee audits, and deliver EHS training,

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in industrial safety/environmental sciences or related field.
5+ years of progressive work experience in safety/regulatory administration.
CPR/First Aid certified; OSHA certifications and CSP preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership across a division or multi-location unit in a complex regulatory framework.
Advise managers on safety coaching and oversee observation and coaching programs.
Interpret and implement OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements; maintain records for EH&S compliance.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
Develop, deliver, and facilitate EHS training for employees and leadership teams.
