The Stepping Stones Group, LLC seeks an Educational Diagnostician for a school-based role in Denton, TX for the 26/27 school year. This full-time hybrid position is on site 4 days/week, with 1 day/week remote, providing psychoeducational evaluations for a local school district.

Compensation ranges from $47-$53 per hour plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Ideal for TEA-certified candidates who support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Current TX Educational Diagnostician license (TEA).
• Graduate from an EBD program.
• Prior experience in a school-based special education setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret standardized assessments evaluating cognitive ability, academic achievement, and social-emotional development.
• Write detailed evaluation reports and attend ARD/IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support individualized education plans.
• Ensure all evaluations comply with IDEA and TEA guidelines.
