Job summary

Tennessee Department of Transportation seeks qualified candidates for Ecology/Technical Specialist roles in Knox County. The position supports ecology deliverables, interagency coordination, and project team collaboration within TDOT's Environment Division.

Hybrid work arrangement allows three days in-office and two days remote. A related Bachelor's degree and competency within the TDOT program are required for progression through Specialist levels I–III.

Qualifications

• Delineate streams, collect data, and prepare documentation for interagency coordination.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to support permit and compliance activities.
• Support project teams within a matrix organization to deliver timely ecology deliverables.
